The first pages of a field guide about thorny bugs, hidden in thorny plants, with inscriptions inspired by local history that I relate to (me being that bug), colored with juice from berries and greenery collected during daily walks wherever I might be.
It all began in the small village of Sainte-Valière, in the the Minervois region of France.
And continues wherever I might go.
