SIX ARTIST FROM THE SWEDISH POLAR RESEARCH SECRETARIAT’S ART PROGRAM IN CAIRO
From the polar ice to the heart of Downtown Cairo, Expedition Art presents the work of six Swedish artists reflecting on our changing planet. Inspired by scientific expeditions aboard the Swedish icebreaker Oden, the exhibition explores the fragile and rapidly transforming landscapes of the Arctic and Antarctic, while highlighting humanity’s connection to the natural world.
Presented at Mashrabia Gallery of Contemporary Art, Cairo, Egypt, the exhibition features works by Karin Alfredsson, Bigert & Bergström, Josef Bull, Efva Lilja, Hanna Ljungh, and Ida Rödén.
Exhibition dates: 8–21 June 2026.
